So Christmas is fast approaching once again and in a week we will be getting ready for the last ‘sleep’ before Santa as the children’s programmes keep informing us.
This coming week will undoubtedly be the busiest for myself and my family, what with getting ready for the actual day, finishing shopping for stocking fillers, finish wrapping (started doing this this afternoon!), delivering wreaths to my family graves, three different graves at two different cemeteries (which is scheduled for Wednesday), grocery shopping for the festive break (scheduled for Sunday the 23rd, the 23rd being our preferred day leaving Christmas Eve for preparing food and any emergency items we need to rush to the supermarket for before early closing time).
And those are just the tip of the iceberg for the coming week, also tomorrow (Tuesday) and Thursday are childminding days when we look after my youngest nephew then put him into his nursery class at 1pm. Also my youngest nephew has come down with a stomach bug which is a shame as he is just getting over a horrid cold.
Also my eldest nephew is going into the hospital on Thursday to have an operation on his big toe, he has a horrid ingrown toenail which is causing the toe to become continually badly infected. It’s an in-patient appointment for a short operation which means he goes in early (around 8am actually) and hopefully will get out in the late afternoon at the latest.
Also on Thursday (or Friday) depending on my schedule (with my eldest nephew going into hospital that day we might have the school run and feeding the eldest two that afternoon/night) to drive across town and hand in our (my parents and I as well as a couple of small things on behalf of my nephews) presents for our aunt into her house as well as pick up the bags she generally has. Not all ours, mostly gifts for my three nephews, my brother and sister-in-law as well as our own from her to save my Dad struggling home on the bus with multiple bags of gifts.
So all in all a busy busy week!!
So hopefully it will be worth it on the day(s) to come.
So if I don’t get back to you before then, have a great holiday season regardless of your religion or beliefs on the season, I wish you all well and hope you have a great time.

Summertime's Here
Well at least in the view of School students. School here finished at noon today, my eldest nephew is now officially finished with Primary School as he begins High School in August when School reconvenes.
My brother heads off to France with his family to his holiday home on Saturday (30th June) and doesn't return until August 9th. All right for some I guess!!

Muck up
Well after a big f**k up with Yodel my parcel was delivered around 5pm. So I now have a Samsung E10 which I am looking forward to putting through it's paces.
The Samsung E10, or memory cam as they call it, is a HD pocket camcorder (2010 release) which has a swivel lens on the same idea as the Sony Webbie and first gen. Bloggie had. Only instead of the whole top bar swivelling to swivel the lens the Samsung one looks less novelty/clunky, it's like a small ball bearing that the lens swivels around on. Looks more svelte and classy than the Sony swivel lens. More adult than teenager type I guess I'm trying to say. Like the adult swivel lens pocket camcorder instead of the teenager/young adult that the Bloggie/Webbie swivel cams seemed aimed at.

The Beginning
This post is about the beginning of my journey towards making vlogs. Which in and of itself was unintentional.
Last year my health and consequently my disability degenerated and I became unable to keep typing/writing up blog posts as I had previously. I also began to have serious memory/cognitive problems as well so I began to rely on technology I already owned to help me remember and do day to day tasks.
The main parts were using my iPod to set off alarms during the day to remind me to check I had taken my medications and the other was use the voice memos application to make lists/remind of what I needed to do. This grew into making audio diaries for myself.

Also ...
To add to my original (first) post said this is the blog for cataloguing my vlogs (videos) which I choose to share online via YouTube.
Also I will be adding posts - could be text as well as video depending on my mood/health at the time of posting - about the gadgets and/or software I use to create my videos and how I find them.

Experiment Blog
This blog is an experiment, or rather part of an experiment. I have just began to consider, and record, vlogs. Vlogs are video blogs simply put.
Originally I thought a few vlogs(videos) would make it easier for me to add content to my existing blogs. Most esp. Invisible Me where I blog from the perspective of a disabled person who has what are termed 'invisible illnesses/disabilities'. Due to my health problems typing/writing blog posts became very difficutl, sometimes impossible due to my RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis) which I have in both hands/wrists as well as many other joints including both elbows and now both shoulders. So as you can imagine typing up content can be impossible to do on many occasions. Not wanting to give up my blogs I began to look at alternative ways to add content to my blogs. As I had been making personal video diaries for several months I thought that maybe I could video what I want to say and embed it in the relevant blogs.
So Ms Fibro Fog's channel on YouTube was born. Although I haven't yet uploaded any videos to the channel I hope to have the time to edit/upload content once the school holidays arrive and i won't have family obligations to my nephews during school days/nights when needed until school reconvenes in August. Giving me time to get a good start to this whole vlogging thing.
Originally I was going to only talk about content that was usable on my disabled blogger's blog but I've decided that everything that interests me enough to 'vlog' about could possibly turn up on the channel.
So this blog is here for the non-disabled blogging content to put simply. I also want a central place to archive all my vlogs regardless of which blog they are created for.
So this is my vlogging blog, so it won't be used unless I am adding a video/vlog to my channel.
